CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
COMBO - TAP | JAZZ | TUMBLING
Let your little mover shine in this SUPER FUN combo class perfect for students that are new to dance. This class combines 20 minutes each of Tap, Jazz, and Tumbling. This introduction to dance class will be sure to entertain and captivate your preschooler’s attention, while learning basic dance steps to seasonally themed music and activities.

PRE-BALLET
These ballet classes are for our tiniest dancers. These classes will introduce the beginning of ballet terminology and skills.

BALLET
Ballet is the most disciplined style of dance and provides the perfect foundation for any dancer. Ballet is a style of dance based on vocabulary and technique. Classes combine stretching, barre exercises and center technique work.

TAP
Providing precise, rhythmical and syncopated rhythms in order, to challenge the dancer with style, focus and timing. Teaching multiple styles of tap to broaden the dancer’s knowledge and musicality.

JAZZ
This energetic class combines stretching and basic Jazz technique. Dancers will have fun mastering specific Jazz elements, and choreography. These Jazz fundamentals will include progressions, turns, leaps and center work.

CONTEMPORARY/IMPROV | LYRICAL
Contemporary/Improv and Lyrical classes combine the movement quality of Jazz with the technical component of Ballet. Contemporary and Lyrical are typically danced to slower music, either ballads or instrumental. These genres allow dancers to combine steps with movement in more of an artistic format.

HIP HOP
Our Hip Hop classes combine a warm up, grooves, across the floor combinations and a center combination. This hard hitting and powerful form of dance allows students of all ages to enjoy letting loose while learning body isolation and coordination skills with fast paced music they love!

LEAPS AND TURNS
Leaps and Turns gives the dancers a chance to perfect the technical elements they work on in their other classes. Turn combinations take years of practice and this class allows our dancers to work on everything from pirouettes, leg spins and al la secondes, to more basic turns like chaines and piques. All of this is practiced, while incorporating strong technical accountability and improvement.

ACRO
This class focuses on flexibility, strength, cardio, control, and technique. This fun atmosphere provides students to work on basic acrobatic skills and tumbling.

PRE-POINTE/POINTE
These classes are structured to motivate and challenge the dancer on pointe or prepare for pointe. This is done though work at the ballet barre, across the floor, and center work as well as learning different pointe variations to further ballet knowledge. ** Registration for these classes must be pre-approved.
MICRO FLYERS
Micro flyers is a fun introduction to aerial silks focusing on the basics. This includes climbing techniques, knots, and other skills on aerial fabric to build strength, flexibility, balance and confidence off the ground.
AERIAL SILKS
Training is designed for fitness in the air, defying gravity, moving freely, and releasing fear and soaring to new heights. This class will focus on basic climbing techniques, knots, and other skills on aerial fabric to build strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence, both right-side-up and upside-down.
